A New Week
This week is going better than last week. Kris is finished with the IV steriods, and on a tapered dose. He hasn't seen much improvement, but we have faith that with time God will heal him to His will. His vision is blurred, his left hand and leg are weak, his balance is terrible, but we know it will get better in a matter of time. I'm getting a little better from this cold: day 12 today. Poor Kris did catch it this weekend, and is on antibiotics just so that he's injested all medication types lately. Ma-Ma is about the same: good mornings, bad nights. There has been some scary talk of amputation, but her health is in God's hands.
As for us, we have a busy week ahead. Tomorrow night we go to Duke, and Thursday Kris has a ton of apointments. Friday I work, and Saturday we go to Sumter for my family's bday party for me. Then we have only 6 days until our cruise! I've already started packing and trying on clothes. We haven't booked any excursions yet as we're not sure of Kris's physical ability at the time, but hope to go parasailing, on a few tours, and scubadiving in paradise. Regardless, it will be nice to relax, not cook, and just be together.

I'm glad this week is better for y'all...still praying for you! I know you're counting the days until the cruise! It will be an amazing trip!!
Will keep praying for Kris. Wow-your cruise is coming up fast-how exciting!!! So, you guys know how to scuba dive then? That's great-all we've done is snorkel-well we did try snuba once-Will loved it; I just got tangled up in all the lines. :-)
OOPS: I meant snorkel! We're considering snuba too, but I'm so sure I'd get caught in the lines.
Thanks for your prayers and excitement. Love you guys!
