Blog Potluck

I started this blog a while back, and decided to just post it as is! Here are some random, non-organized pictures from this weekend. I was going to make a slide show like Laura, but my virus scan warned me not to download it! Oh well, too bad.

Here is a picture of Bella in her new T-shirt. Her boyfriend Blue gave it to her and has one to match!

Daddy's Little Angel

Here are some pictures of the rest of the house, as it is finally cleaned and ready for company! (see next blog for somemore!)
First we have some pictures of my mural Abbie painted in my bathroom. I love this tub and use it quite often. Alas, Emily, Kris isn't able to stretch out his legs, but I only see this as a plus: thats fewer black hairs I have to clean or look at while relaxing in the tub hehehe.

This is the Man Study aka Testosterone Room. Kris is working on a powerpoint for Chuch, and wouldn't even face the camera...

Here are before and after pictures of my weekend project: I found this cute lingerie chest for my closet, so I can get fully dressed in the closet. And yes, the roses are appropriate...

I forgot to point out the weeds in the last picture: they are the only plant I can keep alive! I've named them Verde for our trip to Mexico, and Vickie for my G-ma strong. Not much else to do, but name the weeds...

Wow! Abbie is quite the artist...the mural in your bathroom is beautiful!!

Bella is precious in her angel t-shirt complete with wings!! I seriously need to get Maddie and Gomez an outfit or two!

Your lingerie chest turned out lovely! I love the pink toile lining in the drawers...so pretty and feminine!

You make me laugh so much...naming your weeds...that's a new idea! I just almost squealed with delight when I saw your mural and your BEAUTIFUL blue and white tea set and lovely kitchen (sorry, commenting on both posts), but remembered just in time to use my "inside voice." :D It's all very, very lovely...oh, and your guest room looks so inviting. I hope you have a wonderful time with Abbet, Jimbo, Sam, and little Faith!

I can't wait til you have your own place! Why did Tim have to stay up all night? Hows the neurotic sick cat? I'd love an email on the matter...I'd have lost it and started rocking in the fetal position by now: you're a rock! AND I'd be humming Temper Tantrum Tilly all the time...

Karanena: you're so awesome! I love that chest, and secretly want to use it in a nursery...
Abbie is so talented: she's done some AMAZING stuff! Lots of nurseries, a vets office, church hallways, karate club, etc. I'm so proud of her!

Oh and naming the weeds kills them sometimes: its a strategy used by those of us with black thumbs

Y'all make me laugh out loud!!! And I too have to be quiet...the only computer time I get is when Lou Lou is sleeping!!

Elizabeth, that chest would be beautiful in a nursery! Pink toile is one of my favorites!

You're definitely right! Abbie is VERY talented. She reminds me of my sis-in-law. Jenna did a mural in Carson's room and also painted Gracie a mermaid growth chart for Christmas...beautiful! I'll have to send pics. She also does beautiful cakes as well. (Abbie did your nieces tea party cake, didn't she?)

By the way, please tell Abbie that when she is feeling better we'd love to come see them for a play date!
