Bon Voyage!
Good morning my dear friends! Today, Kris and I leave for our cruise to paradise. I was so excited I could barely sleep, and have repacked and tried on all the clothes I'm taking twice (Kris says 3x). We drive to Charleston, where our ship leaves in an hour. All the details are taken care of:
1. Bella is staying with our friend and neighbor Whitney, who happens to also be her groomer. Whitney has 3 huge cats that outweigh Bella, so we got them some bribes so they're nicer to Bella than last time! She stayed with them before and the big cat picked on her...I'm not kidding. But the cats are declawed and perfectly harmless. Whitney is home during the day, and her husband seems to like Bella as well.
2. Emily, you'll be so proud of me: I'm taking quite alot to read. Besides the magazines (I'm so gonna corn row Kris's hair), I'm taking two real hold in your hand books! Having a Mary Spirit by Joanna Weaver and A Woman after God's own heart, inspired by Laura. Because I'm a dork at heart, I'm also taking my Logic Problems ( I get mentally bored easy) and three books on CD: one suspense/thriller, one cheesy romance, and one fiction. I'm hoping to finish Psalms, but I'm not going to rush it, just take it all in. I've told Karanena how Proverbs to Matthew is my black hole! I can never seem to finsh them. I've also been led to dedicate this entire week to praise prayer only! Each day I've been trying to praise a different characteristic of our God: creator, judge, redeemer, etc. I'm looking forward to challenging my brain to think differntly about prayer.
3. I've been told there are spots on the ship that have wireless internet for your laptop! If they work, I'm going to post while we're on vacation! If not, I'll see you all when we return.
Thank you all again for making my birthday so special. I'll never forget it! Have a great week and thank you for making a difference in my life.
