8 Random Things You May Not Know About Me

I found this tag on a blog I was reading, and thought it would be fun to come up with things you may not know about me: Let me know which ones you knew.

1. Growing up, I always wanted to be a brunette, not a blonde.

2. I love cruising Ebay for milk glass and iron baby cribs...but never buy them.

3. I taught my little cousin Emily to play the piano, but quit repeatedly while in school. I can still play four or five pieces if I don't think about what I'm doing and let my fingers run.

4. I didn't like chocolate ice cream until I was married to Kris, the icecreamacholocic.

5. My pantry stays pretty organized, my spices alphabetized, but my car is always a WRECK.

6. I've always wanted to restore a really old southern mansion and make it into a bed and breakfast. (OK, some of you know this)

7. I don't take the trash out to the garbage can except maybe once every few months (maybe a year or more in college) and when I do I complain. (like my reasoning?)

8. I read house plan magazines instead of books for pleasure. (this is Abbie's dream house: we've placed her furniture in it...)
