New Years Questionnaire

OK, so I had some free time tonight and found this on the internet. Emily, I thought this would be a quiet morning activity unless you type too loudly hehehe. Laura, I'd love to see your answers, but realize you have a baby and probably won't have time. boohoohooo. Karanena, if you read this, I wish you'd have a blog so I could tag you! and finally, my dear Crispy, how I wish you were here and we could answer it together: I'd type for you!

My Childhood Ambition: 1) Be a teacher, 2) rule the world, no just all the people around me

My Fondest Memory: childhood: Tickling my grandfather's feet while we watched Highway to Heaven Adult: kissing Kris outside the church on our wedding day almost 10 years ago

My Favourite Retreat: My big tub, candles, and scented water...ahhh

My Wildest Dream: Be a size 6, heck, 10, Quit working, own a bed and breakfast with horses, dogs, and a place to do kids birthday tea parties... be a foster parent to lots of kids

My Proudest Moment: Graduating from Duke with my Doctorate, not falling down when I walked across the stage

My Biggest Challenge: Finishing PT school on time after Kris's MS, then cancer, my surgery, and CRAZY professors...

My Alarm Clock is: set 30 minutes too early, barely audible as I've hit snooze too many times... and completly ignored. Bella has started whimpering after I've hit it a few times, so that wakes me up better than the stupid alarm clock.

My Perfect Day: Begin the day with prayer and devotion, Kris wakes up in a good mood, stay home with him and Bella, walk on the beach, see some friends and neighbors, organize something, blog a little, write some notes, take a bath, go to sleep. This happens about once a week. God is good.

My First Job was: heavy labor at 3 y/o if chores count? if not, babysitting at 12. then working at Camelot Music at 15

My Most Decadent Indulgence: Blonde Highlights so I can tell my blonde jokes

My Inspiration: My precious grandmother

My New Years Resolution: To be more patient, less frustrated, more loving to all, give more time and money to needy

My Ideal Companion: My Husband: tall, dark and handsome, sweet, loving, smart, funny, then my dog: small, white, cute, sweet, loving, smart, funny...

My Favourite Colour: I guess red? to wear Blue an alltime favorite Taupe in my home

The Last Book I Read: Hmmm, So sick of not being able to have a good answer: Better Homes and Garden and Cooking Light...

How many Books did I read in 2006: I refuse to incriminate myself. They may resend my doctorate...

My Ideal Home would be: wheelchair accessible, hardwood floors, a seperate area for guests and kids to play

I am Expert at: Entertaining? Geriatric PT, multitasking? Telling Blonde jokes...

My Funniest Joke: I have so many: my patient's bring in sheets and I memorize them to tell them when they need to laugh or lighten up. Current #1: Bubba and his buddy were drinking and driving, when they came upon a roadblock. Bubby told Buddy to peel the labels off the bottles, and put them on their foreheads. When they got to the road block, the police officer shined the flashlight in and said, "You boys been drinkin?" Bubba says, " Nope, we is on the patch"

My Favourite Animal: Bella, my puppy. She is a Bichon Frise, which is a little white dog that truly loves everyone, is called the socialite of the dog community. She doesn't shed or produce allergens and is an absolute joy!

My Favourite Breakfast: I LOVE breakfast food. All kinds. If I had to choose omlet is my #1 b/c you can add anything to it and it tastes great.

My Favourite Snack: I'd like to say something healthy like cucumbers, carrots, or celery, which I do love (maybe not love celery), but I love most: pecans...yum, and if they are covered in chocoate, all the more...

My Favourite NEW TV Show: Nothing: watched Rachel Ray's new show recently, but NOTHING is any good lately (Gilmore girls disappointed me when Luke and Lauraleigh broke up, so sad)

My Couch: Leather, worn in, but it reclines and is so comfy. We got it when we had cats b/c their hair wouldn't stick to it and they actually didn't sit or pee on it!

Your Greatest Fear: Hurting someone I love, not doing enough good or God's will in my life

Your favourite Entertainer: Bella. The hollywood people suck.

Your Favourite Meat & Veggie: Meat= Chicken, although shrimp is a close second Veggie= brocoli

Worst Person in the World: Hitler, oh you mean now: people who burn or hurt puppies ( I do watch animal planet)

I enjoyed reading yours. I agree w/ a lot that you said... would love hardwood floors, don't like anything on TV (the occasional sappy hallmark movie would be the exception), and Mama is an inspiration.
Loved your joke!
Ella is crying now, so must go...

It was fun reading yours & answering the questions myself! Interesting that we'd both like to start a B&B someday. :)
