Sam's 3rd Birthday

Today was Sam's Birthday!
Abbie created a wonderful train theme party. The cake was a materpiece: the coolest cake I've ever seen! She made trees, rice crispy mountains, and even decorated wild life! The train actually ran around the cake. Sam's school and church buddies were there, along with most of the family. After cake, icecream, presents, and play we made it outside for some swinging and a really cool train ride! The kids and a few parents loaded up the junior conductors and were off for a ride! They all really enjoyed it, and returned for more play. I am assuming. Because that is when we exited the premesis. Before the screaming napneeding kids surfaced. While they were still quiet, adorable angels. So we would still want kids someday.
Enjoy the pics!

"Before the screaming, napneeding kids surfaced." :-)

Well, it didn't get too bad-Faith went down for her nap easily, and I think Sam and Ella could have played for a couple more hours but it was Abbie and myself that desperately needed to take naps, so we had to pull them apart. :-)

Glad you got pics of the train ride-wasn't that the neatest idea!

Sam is such a big boy now; Faith is changing so much too. We really need to make a special trip out just to see Abbie's family. It's been so long!! Thanks for keeping us up to date with the pictures.
Maybe someday Abbie will get techie and start a blog...and share with us her wonderful creative ideas!!
