A time for Changes
I was able to go to Sumter again this weekend. I semi-finished the play room (forgot my camera again)! I made the curtains, sewed some pillows, hung a few things on the wall, and visited with Ruth, Laura, Matthew, Mom and Dad. I only stayed about 22 hrs, so I didn't get to see MaMa (she was napping Sat PM) but I made it home in time for Church this morning. We only have a few Sundays left until we move. Did I mention that yet?
We decided to go ahead and move to Florence, rather than commuting until the house sells. We feel God has led us to this decision, given us provisions to make it happen, and he will sell this home in his perfect timing. I'm still praying for that to be very soon, but accept God's will in this matter. So, we close on the house in Florence May 10th. Thursday we go to Florence for the inspection, and are looking forward to seeing the house again, measuring the windows for curtains, and yard for future fencing. We're excited about moving, and the agent here said the house will be fine empty, as it will look bigger. We'll just have to do alot of touch ups and minor painting (Emily!!!) caulking, spackling, etc. We'll also have to come back every few weeks for yardwork, cleaning, Bella's haircuts from our awesome neighbor, and to visit our good friends.
I start McLeod at the end of the Month, and am looking forward to the new challenge of starting over with new coworkers, patients, bosses, etc.
This week, we're keeping Tank (star of the fighting photos below) and were a little surprised that he's not potty trained! Its probably the stress of change, but that little bugger can really do his business in the most unusual places!!! But, he is very cuddly, playful, and alot of fun. We love him, poop and all...
Have fun with your challenges this week, and thanks for your continued prayers.
Elizabeth

Glad you are able to close on the new house and be closer to your family!

p.s. Like the "Another Blond Moment!"
That's great you get your beautiful house...it will be so much fun moving your stuff into it. (Okay, maybe not fun for the movers...but fun for you to make it homey!) Spackle Queen is ready for action as soon as she can fly over to Florence. :) We're thinking about a visit to Greenville/Sumter soon. I'll be in Charleston for a choir thing the last weekend of May, so we may just extend it and visit family.
Okay, I agree "Another Blond Moment" is pretty cute too! :D
I'm so glad you'll be able to get the house you wanted! How exciting!!
Sorry I didn't have time to post, so here's the update: Moving the 8-10th of May. Should have internet by the following week, so I'll post then. Will have almost 3 weeks off before starting at McLeod. I'll try to do another post before the move. Thanks for all your prayers. I'm praying for you all as well. Love Ya!
