Bella's Play Date

We were able to keep Bella's friend Mallory for my coworkers who just had their first child. Here are some pictures of them, and the precious little boy: Ayden John.
Mallory is so well behaved when she comes over: she doesn't jump on the furniture, bark, or do anything annoying. Mallory can open the fridge, get sodas/bottles, and bring them to you. She'll even go back and close the door too!
Bella thinks Mallory hung the moon: she follows her around everywhere and does whatever Mallory does: they eat, sleep, and poop together. See the picture where they are lying on the floor: I walked by and there were Bella and Mallory both chewing bones facing eachother!
The cutest thing Bella and Mallory did was fight over Mallory's blanket. Mallory would just lie down wherever on the floor, whereas Bella needs something warm on her hiney. I assumed Mallroy would like to lie on her blanket that Coreen sent over, so I laid it down where she was, and told her to lie down. She always obeys, so I kept doing whatever I was doing. A little while later I looked over and there was Bella on Mallory's blanket and Mallory on the floor. I told Bella to get off and Mallory back on. A while later I looked over and Mallory was dragging the blanket over so she could lay on the cold floor, and Bella on the blanket: go figure. We were sad to see her go after only a few days. Bella always sleeps for days and acts depressed after Mallory leaves.

SOOOOO SWEET! I just want to hug and kiss them both. (the dogs I mean). The baby's cute too. :-)
I'm amazed at Mallory's fridge skills. Now, if your co-workers could just train her to vacuum, they'd have it made.
So sorry Bella gets depressed though. Maybe that means y'all need to get another dog?
:-)
P.S. LOVE your hardwood floors!
Mallory does rock! I bet, if they hadn't had the baby, they would have taught her house cleaning skills...
Thank you for the complement: they're wood linolium but I LOVe them: easy to clean and no splinters!(childhood trauma)
I keep telling Kris we need another dog, but he's a one dog guy (extreme loyalty can be a fault)...
He's thinking about going back to work, so we will have to get another dog for Bella to be with (thats my story and I'm sticking to it)
That's great that he's thinking of going back to work. That means he's feeling/doing better then?
And yes, I think if he does, Bella should get her own permanent playmate. ;-)
Wood linolium-interesting-it's very lovely. We'll have to check it out. We've been considering getting rid of our carpet in our den and hallway. The only thing is we have parquet floors in the kitchen, so not sure how "hardwood" would look w/that.
