Week 6 Down 21 lbs!

Yippee!
There is less bouncing now as I jump up and down!
All is well here. Kris is dieting with me now, and we even do sit ups and leg lifts together. I've been riding my bike (Bella in tow) and I really enjoy cooking lighter and less frequently too. Abbie and I have gotten together twice to do exercise videos while the kids nap, and we even took before pictures today. Of course I forgot my camera, but Abbie had hers...We posed wearing costumes for our Beginners Belly Dance video, which was actually quite a nice workout. Abbie fell down once and I kept tripping and hitting the celing fan too...hehehe. Next we have a beginners Pilates Video, which I am very excited about. The regular pilates was entirely too hard (picture me trying to put my feet over my head) but we'll progress to it eventually. Since Abbie took the pictures, I'll have to post them at another time. You'll be waiting on pins and needles, I'm sure.

In the meantime, here is my newest light recipe. These cupcakes are very moist and no one would know they are light! Awesome for those chocolate fixes. An entire recipe makes 24 large cupcakes, but I like to cut the recipe by 1/4 and make 6 in mini bunt pan muffin tins. If you're counting WW points, they are 2 points each.

Rosie Chocolate-chocolate Chip Cupcakes
1 box Devil’s Food cake mix
1 small box sugar-free instant chocolate pudding
1 small box sugar-free instant white chocolate pudding (or another choc one)
1 c. egg substitute (or egg whites)
1-1/2 c. water (coffee works too)
½ c. chocolate chips
1 c. applesauce
FF Cool Whip (for topping, but I usually just reheat for 10 seconds and eat plain)

Preheat oven to 350.
Spray bundt pans or muffin tins with Pam.
Mix all ingredients except for Cool Whip. (I added the chips after pouring into pans so they would be melty at the top) Pour into prepared pans.
Bake 20 minutes for cupcakes. (I found mini bunt silicone cupcake molds: they hold the same amount as a cupcake but have a nice shape that is great for raspberries and strawberries)

So happy for you! And a belly dancing video does sound fun! So glad Kris is joining you too-I know it makes a big difference when you have that support. Will just blames me when he brings bad food into the house by saying, "You shouldn't have asked me to go to the store!" :-)

And that recipe looks fantastic!

Belly dancing....is it Neena and Veena the twins? I got their video and did the workouts. Really fun and you actually learn a nice little dance at the end. So does Kris join in on the bellydancing too? :D

Thanks for the recipe...it looks great!

Laura: I still have to be careful with sending Kris for anything!

Emily: I was smart and got the beginners belly dance video. Kris does not join in...
There is a nice blonde lady, a weird looking girly man, and another woman. It is simple but still somewhat challenging. But Neena nd Veena sound way too funny...did you fall down too???
Remember the stepsister play...that's what Abbie and I are like when we have to turn, walk, and swish our hips with our hands overhead...

Didn't fall down, but would have died of embarassment if anyone watched me trying to learn the shoulder shimmy.... :D
Your video sounds like fun! No fair, you have a girly man! I just got two beautiful Arabic looking twins with perfectly graceful motions...
