Tagged by a "Silly Post"

OK, so I was reading Letisha's blog, and found myself tagged since I read it, so here goes:
1. What is your occupation? Physical Therapist

2. What color are your socks right now? No socks! hardly ever wear them: they get twisted and make me slip on my wood-like floors...when Abbie comes over we wear them and slide across the den. Sam's not big enough to join in yet, but he will soon.

3. What are you listening to right now? clothes dryer, singing in my head "Blessed be your name"

4. What was the last thing that you ate? Chicken Fahitas. Let me explain: for 3 nights, my husband has taken me to dinner. I can count on my hand the number of times he's offered to take me out recently, and then he told me why: he doesn't want me to cook and mess up the clean kitchen! This is pretty nice, but I don't think it will last as long as the house is on the market. And I actually miss cooking.

5. Can you drive a stick shift? yes but I can't stop on an incline

6. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? red: I love correcting things...

7. Last person you spoke to on the phone? Abbie: repeatedly every few hours since last Monday, but actually two people while typing this: Donna from church and my neighbor who has Bella's boyfriend Blue. Both were tearful about us moving. possibly moving...

8. Do you like the person who sent this to you? Yes, have only met her in cyberspace though

9. How old are you today? 30 weep weep

10. Favorite drink: Just one? chi tea lattes...hmmm (thank you Karanena, I love all the teas equally)

11. What is your favorite sport to watch? none, but if I must then college basketball if Duke is playing. I will occasionally watch the cheerleading competitions, but they start to grate on my nerves after a while.

12. Have you ever dyed your hair? not all of it... YES: it was naked until I turned 21, then Kris wanted me to be a redhead (with a poodle perm: I hated it) then strawberry blonde, then back to natural, and most recently blonde highlights. As I'm frequently reminded, my hair takes color well (green in the subway)... I just think it was "green for Abbie" hehehe

13. Pets? 1 adorable Bichon Frise (little white fluffy dog) in the house as she doesn't shed, produce allergens, or do anything wrong...

14. Favorite food? any kind of chicken and veggies. Is cheesecake a kind of food?

15. What was the last movie you watched? on vacation: Two week notice

16. Favorite holiday? Valentines (my b-day)

17. What do you do to vent anger? sigh alot, turn red, yell, stomp, slam a door: I cry when I get frustrated, which makes me more frustrated...pray and try to thank God for my many blessings

18. What were your favorite toys as a kid? a doll named Squeaky: I still have her. I also loved Barbies: my favorite was wedding barbie: dark curly hair, green eyes: named her Tracie. Jim did not chew her feet off.

19. What is your favorite: Spring or Fall? Spring (flowers, new growth)

20. Hugs or kisses? Hugs

21. Cherry or Blueberry? Blueberry

22. Do you want your friends to do this survey too? Yes!

23. Who is most likely to respond? my sweet, adorable Laura

24. Who is least likely to respond? my husband

25. Living arrangements? 3/2 in Little River, under 10 minutes to the beach, less than 1/2 acre lot on a "pond" (ditch) with WONDERFUL neighbors

26. When was the last time you cried? teared up in church this morning, but no tears escaped. Cried bitterly for hours about 3 weeks ago (13th negative test)

27. What is on the floor of your closet? NOTHING! We boxed up and cleaned!

28. Who is the friend you have had the longest that you are sending this to? my Emmie: my beautiful tall little cousin: we've loved eachother and played toghether since her birth 29 years ago.

29. What did you do last night? organize and pack up most of my junk/craft closet (Saturday nights are hoppin over here!)

And, I added this one to make an even 30!

30. Who is your role model? Two: my grandmother for her godly grace, sweetness, kindness and patience, and Mrs. Shumaker for her loving relationship with Mr. Shu, spunky spirity, her hospitality and fantanstic creativity: I could go on and on about both of them.

Cool... thanks for playing along. I too am not good with a clutch on hills. Have not driven a clutch in years, so I forgot about that!

Ahhh, Duke was a "bad" word in our house growing up. My family being from KY are huge Kentucky fans! I remember the year Duke played UK with Christian Laitner (whatever his last name was) and Duke won by 1 pt! I am sure you remember the famous Grant Hill throwing the ball the whole length of the court for Christian to catch it and toss it in the net just before the timeclock went off! I was the only person cheering for Duke just to make my brother mad. HE was already mad that Duke was possibly going to win. Very mad when they did win! Oh I was so mean to him! So, you go on cheering for Duke for me, but I have to end with this note "UK" is the heart of dUKe! Get it? haha hahahaha Man,

Wow, on moving to Florence. Hope and pray everything works out!

I will pray the Lord blesses you and Kris with a child!

I like your added question. I will have to get back with you on that one!

Well this is long enough.

Letisha

p.s Yes, those are code names for our children on the blog. Just for protection.
